Religion causes people to die, more wars have been started over religion (or had underlying causes in religion) than anything else. Fuck religion, its going to kill us all!

Can you state every war that has occurred and include which religion(s) were key factors in its causation?

Religion Has never caused any war throughout history, It has mearly been used by rich and powerfull people as a weapon or as a recrutement tool for cannonfodder.
The Only thing that causes mass war is the ego and the nature of human beings.
If it is not religion,it is something else, and If you think that middle east crap Is caused by religious differences, then think again.
If I beleive anything I beleive that war is the outcome of Ignorance and mass missinterprattion of the great prophets like jesus , mohammed, buddha, krshna etc.

Yes it has. Just read the bible. Jews killed a lot of people and were practicing a religion. Islamists have practiced religion by war.
This thread was a dead end before it was posted.

Of the main religious sects;
Islam was born in war and ever since has been used as its chief propagandist machine.
The Jewish resistance and mass dispersion throughout the Mediterranean by Roman rule was in account of the religious feelings of the Jews, whose commandments refused them to worship the Emperor. It was because of their restricted religion, that they never held on to a secure and stable terra firma.
India has also been an epicentre of turmoil concerning religious conflict. The Hindu Vs Muslim clash goes back to the 13th century expansionism.
And as for the obvious Crusades, appalling massacres took place not for feudal enterprise but for the clouded emotion and zeal which was perpetrated through piety and indignation. The 'People's Crusade' alone gives credence to a war fought on pure religious value.

Not disagreeing with you, but read this. (http://www.crisismagazine.com/april2002/cover.htm) It's from a Catholic website, so I'm not sure how much of it is just covering the Church's ass and how much is history, but it does present an intertestig view of the Crusades.

You can't blame religions on war. That's ignorance that's causing them wars. You can't blame the originator of these ideas on how the universe works for what a bunch of mindless twats carry out in his name. The goal of these people was understanding in hopes of "better" living. Morons usually confuse this into think that that means people who don't live by their rules are evil. This is just silly.
This would be like blaming Nietzsche for Nazism. It's not 'ol Fred's fault that Hitler was smart enough to take his ideas out of context and that the average person is a mindless buffoon.
The real cause of death is of course life, but the brutal and systematic fashion you speak of comes from people's pure unadulterated idiocy.
