(I'm not too keen on asking questions like this.)

Is there just one type of wisdom?

And can someone tell what wisdom is?

Is there just one type of wisdom?

No, I don't believe so.

And can someone tell what wisdom is?

No, I don't believe so because then you would have an Authority on Wisdom, which I discounted in my response to the first question.

I'm an epistemological skeptic, though. Some on this board are not, and will likely have different opinions.

Wisdom is seeing the world as it really is, in my opinion, and is different for every person. I also believe that we're all talking about the same thing at some level, that the differences between ways of thinking are just superficial.

I belive wisdom is a more opinionated set of knollage you collect over the years. Wisdom is being open minded enough to accept other opinions and options, and create an educated guess on what you belive the truth to be. I think.

me..

Wisdom is the ability to freely access things that are known but not consciously so, something like what people term EQ as opposed to IQ, many who are very smart, still wallow through life.

Every experience that we have, and the depths of experience that maybe offered, ... say religious experience, or similar things, completely knowing oneself, all of the unconcsious and upwards, being able to draw on all of this, as we do anyway, but with greater or lesser quailitive execution.

Like the yin-yang, being able to draw equaly from both, effortlessly, spontaniously.

eg. perifieral as opposed to the other type of vision... which by the way, females are much more apt in, males the opposite, what is it called?

I think wisdom is solely what you know. And intelligence is the rate your able to gain wisdom, analyze it, adapt, improvise, and fortell whats going to happen next. Along with many more aspects of INT, but those are the main ones.

Just an opinion.....
