And most protestent and other churches today still support the jews.

One of Martin Luther's most prominent essays was entitled "On the Jews and Their Lies." Luther hated Jews because they never worked for their money; they were employed by the Catholic Church to issue loans and get fat off the interest rates.

Luther also said that, in a genuinely Christian community, it was the responsibility of all Christians to burn synagogues, destroy the Torah and Talmud, cast the Jews out of society, and forbid them from re-entering the community until they picked up a shovel and hoe and genuinely worked from the sweat of their brow.

That's why I respect Luther.

Protestantism, however, lacks a genuine spiritual foundation, as does the greater body of Christianity, and therefor deserves my full scorn.

You realize, of course, that the Protestants in this forum will read this thread, and put it to the back of their minds, after somehow rationalizing it in what can only be described as an extrodinary example of doublethink being exercized.

Of course, this post will probably poke them into action, although it might not.

I'm still waiting for their response to Calvinism, and the BIBLICAL EVIDENCE for it.

Everyone in Luther's time thought like that. In fact, anti-Semitism was not only not taboo until the past hundred years, it was an accepted sentiment the grand majority of people held. And, justifiably so.

I am not protestant but Catholic. But if I was protestant I wouldnt see this as a big deal. Despite the fact that Luther was anti semite he still made some damn good points about what the church was doing wrong and him being rascist shouldnt take away from that.

"Justifiably so?" Why, because Jews were the bankers and the tax collecters in medieval Europe? Educated Jews were sometimes employed by kings to compute and collect taxes for them, because they were the only ones educated enough to do so. The populance despised the Jews because they did the collecting for the King, so I think anti-semitism was a case of "shooting the messenger".

I admit, I don't know much about the origins of anti-semitism, but that is a theory I've heard (tell me if I'm wrong). Also, I'm aware of the role religion plays in it, too. Anti-semitism always sounded like a case of jealously to me.

If you can verify your statements, Tyrant. What about Jews who are contrary to what you think? I'm friends with some, and they aren't anything like that.

It's impossible to judge the quality of a certain type of man, a certain type of civilizations, on contemporary standards. The fact that you know someone who doesn't embody the supreme ZOG mentality doesn't mean that that tendency is not slumbering within him, just as that desire to be on a longboat sailing into untamed lands is within you, but obviously impossible to realize with given circumstances.
