Actually the story of lucifer isn't a mistranslation. The lake of fire is mentioned several times by jesus. It's in revelations. Read it, bitch.

The fallen angel comes from Isaiah 14, where it mentions lucifer falling from the heavens or something to that effect. Lucifer is a latin word meaning bearer of light, but the original passage was written before a roman language even existed. In place of the word lucifer they have 'morning star', or Venus. This is used as an analagy for something that gives off light, note that Jesus is also refered to as the morning star. Talk to a Jew about it, they don't believe it is about Lucifer, they believe it is about a fallen Babylonian king. Bitch. And I'm not Christian you dumb cunt.

No, the eschatology of the rature has been around before the left behind series. those books just brought it to the surface of the general public.

Yes, but there is quite a bit of dicussion over the chronology. In left behind, they decided the rapture would take place before the tribulation. That's not biblical fact.

Not all of the bible is meant to be taken literaly, Christianity has acknowledged this. The bible does not become historically accurate until Abraham. Also, the Church does not teach that you will go to hell if you are not Christian. Those are just a few answers, I am simply too lazy to give you the rest. Dont be so narrow-minded, If Christianity could be disproved so easily it would have been a long time ago.
