i was informed today by our local newspaper (" Rabbit Breeders weekly") that once again that unsuspecting visitors to our local shopping 'experience' (aka Morrisons) will be accosted by the norfolk chapter of the Salvation Army playing christmas music.
now don't get me wrong..i used to live on the bavarian border and i quite like Ompah music...in the Biergarten.
BUT i get annoyed with christians trying to pervert this ancient festival. a festival of debauch and celebration at the rebirth of the sun.
so this year lets put the real meaning back into yuletide and celebrate by rejoicing in the bounty of this earth(= shop til we drop and have multiple gastric orgasms). lets debauch around the log fire and drink deeply of bacchus' bounty.
