I've decided that this is now my religion. I disagree with a few things but it's pretty much what I think anyways. Who doesn't disagree with some things in their religion? Check it out. Not only does it have a good life philosophy but it also keeps your ass out of jail due to smoking, growing,posessing, and providing to the sick (who isn't sick) being part of the religion so it's protected by the charter of rights. I doubt being a member of that church would keep an American out of jail if they were busted for growing. I think the only exemption they have for religios drug use there is for peyote. And that is a cactus that only grows in a few placs and takes years to grow. It also does not sound like a fun drug so it is not likley to be abused.

fyi, rastafarianism is based around the ceremonial use of marijuana.

You've got to be joking, man, that "religion" will not keep you out of jail if you get busted for growing or possession.

In the United Sates, your religion defense would not fly. People have been trying to do this for decades!

"Hey, man, (insert name of illegal drug) is a sacrement in my religion, man, I'm protected by the Constitution, man, freedom of religion, just like the Native Americans, man."

The court would then laugh in your face, because anyone can plainly see that the religion you speak of was created solely to allow you to use illegal drugs, nothing else.

Goddamn, man, that site looks like it was put together by a bunch of stoners during a blaze session.

The reason why Native Americans can legally use peyote is because their religion is much older and established, and the religion is a part of their culture. And from what I understand, they use peyote very rarely, about once a month, if that.

Of course, if you live in another country, you might have a chance, but I doubt it.

You might be able to get away with it in some parts of BC. Only because marijuana use is so rampent the cops have more important things to worry about. People have sold pot openly in cafes and through the mail and only stoped when they got media atention.
