How can i make it better?

This psychic told me that i have bad luck because of my bad karma and that every seven years it starts over and i have 7 days in between two karma cycles to make it better so the new one will be better WTF? someone please explain these and please be serious

I have no idea what that psychic is getting at, sounds like New Age mumbo-jumbo.

Karma is the fabric of this universe, it is what powers the endless cycle of rebirth.

Many Western people confuse karma with the concept of fate or destiny. On the surface they may seem the same, but they are different.

The Buddha said there are Three Wrong Viewpoints in this world. They are:

1. That everything is controlled by destiny or fate.

2. Everything is in the hands of an unknowable God.

3. That everything is random and without meaning.

These viewpoints are wrong because they offer no hope to humanity. What is the goal of life if it is already decided by fate or God, or if it is random and without meaning?

So where does that leave us? We control our future, no one else does! By creating good karma (living in harmony with ourselves and the world), we help to make our future lives better. We can change our karma, unlike fate.

I'd say many westerners confuse karma with a revenge theology idea.

As in, I do bad things = bad things happen to me, vice versa with good acts.

The "psychic" was telling new age Scheisse...

That seven year cycle mumbo jumbo is in my knowledge from "The secret doctrine" by Madam Blavatsky. Blavatsky is occasionally quite witty, but her books are 90% garbage and 10% amusing. By mixing all religions together, nothing good can be complished. Even if all religions were true, combining them would ruin every one of the true religions. And they're just silly.

So avoid theosophists and other new age syncretists like they had plague!!!11
