I laughed at the Lutheran one, because it's so true. You'd have be from a German-Lutheran family to get it.

I guess Lutherans keep to themselves, I don't know.

I think this one is somewhat out-dated. I believe that the idea behind this is that (older) German families are alittle more serious. When i was in germany about 20 years ago, the biggest difference that i saw compared to the states, was the "nose-to-the-grindstone" attitude (strong work ethic, and strong family mindset... if something happens in your family, you deal with it among family and dont talk about it outside of family).

If one were to update the Lutheran "shit happens", it would probably be something like:

Shit happens..literally, but it's ok as long as you repent and accept Jesus

or something like that.

But, this topic was just meant for fun, so i'll quit babbling...glad that people enjoyed it.
