... as far as I know Onan was killed for masturbating. I guess Christians would consider it to be a sin. Though they don't believe in karma...

Depends on what church you are in and what they feel at that moment. Keep in mind at one point it was a sin to look at naked bodies even if it was your own, so people did not bathe.

WHy does every major religion have some fixation with sex being a evil bad thing, and even some going so far as male "and female" circumsision, and celibacy.

Onan violated the tradition of his culture, which was to procure a child to extend the lineage of the eldest, which meant the child he was to help conceive would not be his. He didn't want this. So, he pulled out.

The rites are more important than an individual's desires. God thus killed him.

It depends on what sect of what religion you're following. Besides, karma isn't about what you do to yourself. It's about the energy you put out in the world.

As long as you're keeping your out ward flowing energy positive, your karma should be good. And I don't think masturbation really causes anything but positive energy, unless you're feeling guilty about it.

If you're feeling guilty over it, may be you should stop.

But, then you could have a bigger problem, like pent up aggression or something.

its probably due to the fact that our sexuality is the 'sweating stick of dynamite' of our emotions.

with the exception of homicidal anger and other mental imbalances our sexuality/libido is the fastest and bestes way for a 'normal' person to fuck their life up bigtime.

and not only does following our dicks/clits tend to lead us into all kinds of shit we also tend to hurt a whole heap of people while doing it.
