probably the wrong spelling but hey. i was wondering where i could learn more about this religion(taoism and such like) i tried googling but not much.

I'm just reading confucius' "Discussions", not very religious but interesting read(It's also good for collecting witty quotes).
Dao de Jing can be found online in many translations. Of course paper version is always better.

Because I question the motives of your "pursuit of knowledge".
Taoism - the only thing that matters is the undefinable Way of the universe; all else is mere illusion and impermanence.
Confucianism - the true understanding of the Way leads one to accept propriety in the form of understanding the relationship you have to all things in the sublime hierarchy of life, and only in adhering to these laws and traditions does the world return to what is ultimately good.
