Does anyone here believe in Pantheism, if so could you explain the main and general understanding of your religion, because I been trying to get a general understanding about it. Thanks.

are you trying to find out what it is? or just if people believe in it? if the former, then the quick answer is that god, not the judeo-christian-islamic god necessarily, just an undefined god, permeates all of existence, exists everywhere, is part of everything.

Both really, but more so what Pantheism is all about, and what you have to do to become a Pantheist.

I'm not all that sure about it...pantheism isnt a particular religion, its a category (for lack of a better term), like polytheism(belief in more than one god) which includes hinduism and the norse religion. the only religion that comes to mind when i think of pantheism is something like druidism, they worship trees and rocks, etc... though I may be using the wrong definition of pantheism, im not completely sure on this.

God is the Universe. The Universe is God.

oh... other interesting thing is, that Pantheism necesarily causes us to recognize that we are god too, and it allows us to rid ourselves of all duelism.

i do not believe in dualism. if dualism was correct, then God is a part of me, and I am part God....God is omnipotent, Omniscient,Omni-benevolent....I am none of those. and If I was part God I would not let myself suffer, or not get laid.

If you didn't suffer, you wouldn't know joy.

you are god like salt is to the ocean, for fucksake, if you were God of course you would know about it, this is not the veiw of a non-dual perspective, another way, consider all the stars in the sky, if there were one light shining behind all of those that would be god and we would be the stars

Here's an easy remembering tool...

Panthiesm - God IS everything.

PanENthiesm - God is IN everything.

(Note the "en" as in, "IN".)

Wouldn't panentheism and pantheism be the same thing?

Thanks for all the replies. Still I'm a little confused though, any more reply would be much appreciated.

I don't think you know what the fuck your talking about.

Panthiesm is the god is all, all is god.

Dualism is something different entirely.

Good/evil, ying/yang, whatever, its a little hard for it to really exist if everything IS the same thing.
