hmmmmm...religion. A very touchy subject if you ask me. Most people would steer clear of topics such as that. But its up here front and center. And i'm interested in what religion, if any you belong to, what are your opinions on another religion, and why you've chosen to belong in your current religion.(sorry if i used the wrong words to describe that.) For example I'm a zen buddhist, I think Christianity is a bunch of crap, and i like the idea of achieving inner peace and tranquility,so i became a buddhist.Your thoughts and opinions i beg.

I am not committed to a church, though I was raised a Catholic and the only schools I've ever gone to have been catholic. Anyways, I believe in god, though I don't really believe you have to go to church to be with god.

In my opinion, the idea of there being any God at all is illogical and very irational.

It's only a matter of time before

Scientists discover the "fine tuning" of the universe, and when they do it basically falsifies any religion, as we will KNOW how everything was made.

The thought of there being any superior being or force is quite uncomprehensible as for the past 2005 years "God" has left Earth alone with no more little Jesus'. Jesus was a mere pawn for which scholars used to create short anecdotes on, from where a book called the Bible is based.

It is also interesting to consider the ancient Egyptians when talking about religion. They were one of the more advanced civiliasations for their time and so they had their own set of Gods. Nowadays we can see from an outsiders point of view that these Gods were really quite a backward thing based primarily on fear. But these Gods are now classed as "not real" by people of today. The ancient Egytptian Gods were believed for a good 3000 years BC.

This leads me to the following viewpoint.

Give it time and the same thing will happen to the religions of today as we acquire more scientific knowledge.

There is so much to say about religion that I cannot possibley give all my so-called "evidence".

Some people upon reading such comments that I have made would immediately disregard them due to their primitive upbringing and lack of immagination, but please take them into consideration.
