im wondering if theres any religion that comes close to my belifes.

i believe that everything is possible, and theres an infinite number of alternate realities. i do not believe in a "god". that is, a being which created all that we know and is totaly seperate from us. i think all consciousness is basicly part of the same thing and each "soul" is equaly important. i do believe in an afterlife and that life is unending. i dont believe in a "hell". hell being the place that "god" or "karma" sends you for fucking up in life. obviously in infinity something that must resemble a "hell" must or can exist, there is a difference though. i think the closest to hell you can come is when you die, you see and feel how your actions affected others and learn from it.

i think that covers pretty much everything. so what am i? buddhist? jewish? mormon?? or maybe im just a hippy.. anyway i thought maybe you guys could help me out.

edit: i realize that if i believe everything is possible it can contradict my own beliefs. im not sure just how everything works, but i just think everything is fundementaly possible. this doesnt mean everything actually will happen. its like that thing from calc. that talks about point A moving towards point B for eternity but never quiet reaching it.

i know that was badly writen..

as far as logic goes, it seems only logical that all things are possible. first of all, you could say not everything is possible in this little piece of reality. that may very well be. but in the whole of things, everything, logicaly, must be possible. watch "the elegant universe" by nova. that didnt help me form my belifs but deffinetly reaffirmed them.

I don't know about Buddhism, but to me it sounds like Taoism.

Don't worry about labels man. But if you do want to find a religion do some research on your own. also talk to holy men, like preists rabbis, monks, pastors, and 15th level mages, and find out whats right for you. Maybe you won't be able to find a reglion, in which case just go with what you feel.

actually im not at all interested in finding a religion. i was just curious what my beliefs are like.

all i know is that we are products of evolution, the christian god is bullshit, and spirits exist.

I have a book to suggest to you. It's called the ultimate hitchhiker's guide. It actually reflects a lot of your beliefs if not all.
