Thought I'd put this idea on here again since I never see anything similar too much. It never goes over well, or generates much thought, but that doesn't lessen my faith in it. I don't understand the resistance to thinking about this, but I guess in a way I do, since as I was explaining to my boy yesterday, everything that the world has to teach you is in opposition to this idea (at the same time as striving to see this idea).

The deal goes like this; The only final answer that can be found to any question is that no OTHER final answer exists. In other words, any question that you can ask, or any problem you are trying to solve, whether it be religious or scientific, has no final answer to it. Any answer that you arrive at can always have another question asked about it, and there will always be another answer, and then you can repeat the process over and over again.

This contradicts the basic assumption that you all start from, that the questions you ask can be answered in some "correct way". They can't, because there is always another question and answer around the corner. But they CAN in the sense that there is one final answer to all questions; "The only final answer that can be found to any question is that no OTHER final answer exists."

The way I'm saying this may be kind of confusing, but here is another way to say it. You ask questions and you get answers. Then you find that your answers can be questioned. So you get some more answers. Then you again find that you answer has some flaw in it and someone questions it. You find that you never come to the end of this process, and the only answer you ever come up with, the only final answer, is that THIS IS the only final answer. And you may not like this, and it may not seem like an answer to you, but you cannot refute it. It IS the answer you are left with. Our belief that there are answers to all the great (or small) questions, in the end, comes down to only one answer, and its not the one we expected or were looking for. The whole world is fighting against accepting this answer. This answer can also be called God.

So does this make looking for answers irrelevent? Should we just give up? (Is there only one correct answer to these two questions?)
