i geuss you could say im a christian. but i've done alot of things that really go against that. i've been in church 3 times in my life, and 2 have been funerals. i read the old testament alot. and i really follow that. i believe that you are allowed to kill sometimes. and that the bible isn't as black and white as alot of people believe. im wondering what religions, are like that. i believe jesus is the son of god, and im not going to change that. but im not going to go through life contradicting myself, and trying to justify the things i do, with something that completely goes against them. im wondering what religion does mainly follow the old testament. and what its called. and where is information about this. and also, what are there views on afterlife?

and their views on not just killings but all "serious" crimes looked down upon by society.

Whats the point in even picking and chosing your religion based on how you want to live? How will you know its the "real" one.

Yeah... you're looking to join a religion based on how you feel about things. Why dont you grow up and stop looking for a crutch?

Basically there is no other religion, except maybe being Jewish, but even they don't really follow the old testament. And for choosing a religion (given you want to change) I say don't give up so easily on what you already are, try reading some stuff in the new testament, its good too. Also, to keep from contridicting yourself, just change what you do, you say you read the old testament, well then follow it. That way when you do something it always follows what God wants and you are never stuck in a corner, not being able to explain your actions.

Lastly on this utterly confusing note to sum what has just been said, try to change youself, not the religion

I suggest not taking advice from this guy.

Your first hint would have been when he didn't know that the proper term for "that religion, being Jewish" is called "Judaism".

I also suggest not listening to what he said about "being Jewish".
