Yin = Female...yet contains a modicum of the Male

Yang = Male...yet as with Yin, contains a dab of of it's Opposite, the Female.

Do you find this Primal Mandela relates to anything Real World?

It seems that usually it's something that in Pop Culture is usually presented as a superficial Man/Woman Sexual Dealy. Yet is there not a much Deeper Realm represented?

What's up with these Opposites containing a touch of One Another?

I relate to them as Light = Yang & Matter/ Darkness = Yin

If the Spirit/Light perhaps Manifests itself as Physical Avatars eg: Krishna/Christ etc.

What would the Yin/Matter/Female's Avatar be like? If She was as DownSolid with Yin as K/C was with the Male/Yang/Light?

Wha'? http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif)

If the LightUniversal is Everywhere but most obviously Nowhere, maaan.Something is obviously & Always, Everywhere.

'If' there are 'Two' 'Things' & One is usually Imperceptable...what is it We see?

So, all those Songs, Poems, Stories & Tales, where He says to Her, 'I am No-Thing without you'...apparently True? http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif)

Wha'?

So, if you go down to the woods today & you see some 7' 6" Girl, looks about 16 going on 17 & she's talking to a Mother Bear & her Cubs. If She picks up one of the Cubs & rubs noses & you can see the other Cub wants up too? The Mother looks jealous, wants up too. Would you be nervous?

Would you think...hmmm, guess that's Her?

What of the line that seemingly divides the two.....keeping them separate.

What of the Inclusion of Each within the Other?

They are so very different...yet?

0 + 1...?

What can be made of '0' + '1'...or a zillion of only these Two?

Something exists only in the presence of nothing. Nothing only in the presence of something.

The difference between "this" and "that" is the void that lies between them.

Hmmm. Yet in Physics, the Vacuum is a Thing. It is not 'Nothing'. It just appears that way.

Is that relevant? Got me.

In a certain way of looking at it the Universe is One Thing & One Thing Only. This of course is a 'funny' kinda way of looking & only strangely applicable. Wha?

Ahhh...heck...it's All 1's & 0's to me, or sumpin'?

When is a being not a being at all?

What exists in a vacuum?

I see a lot of dust and what-not's there....

Hmm...my bag needs emptied...once emptied...I can vacuum again.

Well, apparently Vacuum has a 'Charge' & the Weird Science folks think that they can suck so called 'Zero Point Energy' out of it.

Something out of Nothing...yet Something is there. Though that is only Speciously related I think. Which of course makes it perfect for a Specious Spankmonkey, such as I.

Explain 'Zero Point Energy', if you will.

Yin = Female...yet contains a modicum of the Male

Yang = Male...yet as with Yin, contains a dab of of it's Opposite, the Female.

Do you find this Primal Mandela relates to anything Real World?

It relates to the conscious/subconscious. Every man has feminine aspects, and every woman has masculine aspects. The essential truth behind the yin and yang is that nothing is really all that different unless we decide to percieve it as such. What it boils down to is that everything is just straight up energy, and we decide to percieve certain manifestations of it as differing from another, when it really isn't.

It seems that usually it's something that in Pop Culture is usually presented as a superficial Man/Woman Sexual Dealy. Yet is there not a much Deeper Realm represented?

Not in pop culture so much as in everyday life. Pop culture is usually devoid of any sort of truths, representing only the most complex of complexities that defy the mind the clarity needed to see the 'deeper realm' as you call it.

What's up with these Opposites containing a touch of One Another?

It's just a basic truth; everything will contain an aspect shared by all else.

I don't necessarily believe Krishna or Christ were originally meant to be mere representations of the male aspect. Christ is an aspect that all humans can relate to, it was JC who said that we are all sons of God, it wasn't gender that he was referring to, simply that we are all part of God, and are all his children, whilst being Him at the same time. Krishna and Christ are physical representations of the WHOLE, not just the yin or yang.

(section omitted)

If the LightUniversal is Everywhere but most obviously Nowhere, maaan.Something is obviously & Always, Everywhere.

This coincides with string theory, which I don't believe (I deem it quite possible, however), but do find interesting.

'If' there are 'Two' 'Things' & One is usually Imperceptable...what is it We see?

Nothing that is, is truly impercebtable, we just may not have the clarity of mind, or the technology to percieve everything yet. What we see right now is a clouded interpretation of the objective reality, that which contains the yin and yang as one. What we do is divide what we see into one of the categories, and then further break it down until we have a whole clusterfuck of bullshit that denies us of the simple truth that all are one.

So, all those Songs, Poems, Stories & Tales, where He says to Her, 'I am No-Thing without you'...apparently True? http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/eek.gif)

Quite so. Not in a spiritual sense necessarily, but without woman, and without man, neither could exist. Only united does anything exist.

All I can think of here is, "What the fuck?" Moony, you lost ME.

Would you think...hmmm, guess that's Her?

Still lost, explain please?

The problem with the yin and yang - the problem with all duality is there is no duality.

See, there is no darkness, only absence of light. If you look deeper into this you'll see there is rarely a true duality. Very few things are that black and white.

I think you're reading way to hard into a symbol.

First, Yin and Yang don't "choose" to manifest in any form, they just are. So if you are trying to find the yin and yang of Jesus and Krishna, then you would look at the light and dark of what they do, their personalities, and what happens to them.

I think that you have a very poor understanding of the Yin and Yang of the world. Please read the Tao Te Ching.

Does anyone have a site of a very detailed description of Yin/Yang. I suddenly feel the urge to read up on it.

Thats not true, The universe is made largly of dark mattar, Also i heard in an interveiw with Dr Michu kaku (Forgive if misspelled) the string theory guy that it may be that on the other side of a backhole can be a whitehole exactly oppostite of what we see. While on the other side nothing but light and it constatly emmits energy.

All of this fits right in with the traditional meaning of yin & yang.

I think the Yin and the Yang represents the universe's necessity to have a cause and effect.

Everything has a balance, somewhere...if not, chaos ensues.

The Yin-Yang is a taoist symbol to show positive and negative energies in the world, that is all. Tao is based on simplicity, thus you should need look no further than that which is to find what you want to know.

In Tai'Qi/Qi Gong the Yin-Yang is used to show different types of energy. The light is qi, the dark is jiing. Its basis is the same, only that qi is spiritual energy, and jiing is physical energy.

You've taken a symbol of simplicity and turned it into a jumble of complex ideas. Congratulations.

Nice try, and you would be right if dark matter was actually the opposite of light. It might be, possibly, but in reality nobody knows what dark matter is yet. In fact, it's usually called anti-matter, just because of that.

And, of course, since they don't even know what a black hole is yet, the concept of their being an opposing white hole is mere speculation.

I maintain that there are no perfect opposites.

Like a sun? Or our sun would be a black hole in another universe?

Forgive me, I'm trying to sunderstand this.
