What the title says, I have respect for many aspects of organized religion. However, no matter how 'symbolic' it is, the idea that I'm going to hell for not being dunked in some water is laughable. I'm not really trying to offend to offend, but I don't really care if I do.

Many things christians do are laughable. Their whole belief system is a fuckin comedy.

Baptism as a method of salvation is also not Biblical.

If you read the account of John the Baptist, you will see that.

The true significance of it is an ******d proclamation of dying to self.

Being "reborn"...washing away of sins.

It has nothing to do with salvation.
