Considering "the devil" is a character in mythological stories there is no way to make a pact with "the devil". The devil doesn't exist. The character, itself originates from the Persian demi-goddess: Angra Mainyu, though some might say Lilith.

It's incredibly debateable whether or not even the arch angel Lucifer exists(ed), since he's an angel and no one knows if angels really exist. If he does, though, and the story about him is true, then there is a particular being you could try to make a pact with.

But, even according to the bible Lucifer can't do anything without gods permission anyways. So, you'd basically be making a pact with a figment of the imagination that has absolutely no power because he's controlled by an even bigger figment of the imagination.

Ya, Satan was Flanders in that one. Accept Bart did not get his race car because marge told him to "Stop pestering Satan". They have had at least three diferent Satans on the Simpsons, and that one looked and sounded like Flanders.

Led Zapplin made a pact with the devil. Like many others at that time, many think he sold he sole to the devil. Hence the satanic message heard when "stairway to heaven" is played backwards. Or this just could be ur brain thinking ur heard something that sounded like a satanic message.
