In the Bible it speaks of a place where you donot age. Time does not exist. Alot of people think its in a desert. But wich one would it be. The bible states that it is surrounded by thousands of miles of nothing. Deserts can be wet or dry. Could it have been swallowed by water during the last ice age. Knowbody knows. If anyone has any idea's on where this land is give me some feedback...

The Land Of Nod is a Judaic myth and it just means being in a state of eternal wandering. Basically The Land Of Nod is anywhere that's nowhere.

The Jews love that kind of shite.

The land of Nod is where Cain went after he killed Abel, and where he got his wife, if I remember correctly. It seems to indicate that the garden of eden was a special experiment and there were already humans living outside of it. I think Seth went there to get married, too. Look in genesis.

Thanx,, but I have read the book of Genesis many times. I have done alot of reasearch on the subject, but nothing seems to lead me to my answere. Where is it located on the globe?? Is their any possible way of figuring it out. The Bible doesnt exactly give coordinance...

Try reading the International Version, that might help.

Also, you should look up my annotated version of the first couple chapters of Genesis. From what it sounds like in the bible Eden was either located somewhere in Ethiopia or somewhere in Iraq, and it does seem to imply that there are other people outside the Garden Of Eden.

Of course, the story of Cain and Abel is notoriously mysterious. If he was supposed to wander for the rest of his life why was he able to build a city? What was the mark on him? If he was supposed to be alone where did he get his wife? Who was his wife and where was she from? How, exactly, did Lamech kill Cain and why did he? Not to mention the basic: why did God favor Abels gift?

The story is full of holes.

But, learn this: The Land Of Nod is not a place. The first five books are the Torah and therefore it's in a Judaic vision. And in Judaism Heaven and Hell aren't places. They're descriptions of a state of being, as is The Land Of Nod. There's lots of things like this: subtleties in culture and language that you have to understand to even be able to understand the translations properly.
