the way i see it is this, god is the force behind randomness, when you throw a dice, god decides which number it lands on, the god is in the element of chance.
people aren't controlled by god but they are controlled by chance events, the story of human evolution is characterised by chance events, as is all evolution and all life and chemistry and atomics.

i dont really follow...
the way i see it is "god" is simply the force that is EVERYTHING. its not a guy sitting on a cloud sending people to hell and controlling our paths in life. god is everything, we are every bit as much of "god" as jesus christ himself was. consciousness (you could think of a single consciousness as a collection of knowledge about the universe) is basicly knowledge, which you could say is the "offspring" of god, which would make us all part of eachother and all "sons and daughters of god".
ive been up all night so that might be hard to follow.. if i get around to making it simpler it will probably make a lot of sense to atleast someone.
Whats your definition of Organised Religion?
A group that meets regulary?
Any religion that has a sacred text?
Any religion with any sort of "label" (Muslims, Jews, Rastafarians...)?

i dont think you were talking to me but ill put in my two cents anyway.
i think organized religion would be any set of beliefs that a group of people follow. like, a book (example: bible) that basicly outlines your religion and tells you what you have to believe to belong to that religion.
its another thing all together for people with similar beliefs to meet and discuss what they believe in. if it allows free thought and doesnt have any "guidelines", its not an organized religion.
You have a shitty definition of God.

einstiens word isnt imfallable you know. look at quatum mechanics, he was completely against that way of thinking about the universe and not once has QM been proven wrong.
the universe that we know is probably an insignificant speck in an ever-expending totaly infinite omniverse and us being here right now is a total chance. in a manner of speaking atleast... i believe that we actually choose the life we're in, any probably a few aspects of the life aswell. the omniverse (by which i mean EVERYTHING, the extra deminsional universe which holds our universe, the one that holds that etc) is still infinite though which means this universe we know can be scientifcly (though probably not until we're actually dead) proven to be a complete chance.
this doesnt make existence any less important though. all it means is, no old guy with a white beard decided to make himself some toys.
still, the bottom line is no one should be so arrogant to claim that they know exactly how things are in a universe where we dont fully understand. we cant prove where it came from or even understand our own consciousness.
all my statements are obviously hypothetical.

I don't think organized religion is bullshit. I think it's bullshit for people to use religion for their own benefit (other than seeking salvation) in the real world. Whether you support any kind of religion, organized religions allow for communities to be established. That's why today's churches do more than gather people on Sunday. It's just the unity of people with a common faith.
