So the purpose of life is to worship this god so you wont burn in hell for all eternity... but what of the people that have never even heard of jesus or the word of God? what of them? the people that the missionaries dont bother with...

do they burn in hell simply because they are clueless?

is this really the meaning of life? to be brought into a world in which if you dont believe in something you burn forever when you die?

if you never heard of it... then how is it real?

everything is learned throughout life... you learn about religion.. then you steer your own way... this is why i dont believe there is a right religion... hell, im an agnostic and even i dont think its right... its all very confusing...

That would be the case for catholism. For orthodoxy - which I think is a much nicer phylosophy all arounf - you just have to accept that God's forgiveness for your sins. You can't say **8220;I followed all the rules so God must let me in heavan**8221;; such was rejected by the orthodox church as heresy a long time ago. And the best part is that you don't have to be orthodox to get salvation like this.
