Been there, seen that, listened to the guy who gets up and says how were all sinners etc, disagreed with it. That and the social environment for that church left something to be desired. So I stopped going. Quite some years back actually.

Yeah. Church rocks on mushrooms.

It's a hobby for me. I go to different churchs/temples and sit in on different ceremonies. I'm particularily addicted to this one voodoo temple I found in the city. You'd never expect it's a voodoo temple by looking at it, but once a week, they all dress up in white and hold voodoo ceremonies there. It's awesome. There's also a "satanic" temple out here, and I've been twice, but it's boring. A lot of guys in robes chanting. It's a lot like a catholic mass.

I went to Catholic church twice last year. bunch of "God is great, aleluha." I had a hard time not laughing my ass off. I guess you need to be sucked in from birth, that or be stupid.

Church is good, because it's like a baby sitter that scares morals and ethics into stupid people that will never even concider philosophy unless it's forced down their thoats.

Plus, it doesn't really matter what mainstream religion you go to; they all teach positive lessons that progress your soul... sure, the details are probably alittle hazy, but atleast the fundamentals are there..
