Why do we have to argue lets just go where we think we're gonna go and let everyone else die horrid burning hell deaths... or lets all just rot in our graves... or lets go get our 72 virgins... ok?

Because the idea of monotheism inevitably leads to people having to prove that their god is "the right" or "the real" god. Don't like this idea? Think about it, and look at it in a historical context. The Hebrew scriptures are all about the Hebrew people fighting, etc. because they believe they are right. Polytheistic groups didn't have to fight for their beliefs. Sure they had gods and they'd say their god was superior, but there was always room for more gods. The bottom line is that monotheism invariably leads to fighting.

Super Best Friends Club!
Beliefs inevitabley lead you to thinking that your god is "the" god, and everyone elses god is shit. I've been a varity of religions: Christian, Wicca, Satanic, Egyptian Mythic (part of Wicca), and Taoist. I created my own religion, based on understanding and thought, because religion just seemed so... Limited. All gods are real, because we believe them to be so. You choose your own path, based on your beliefs. In short: you are and will be what you believe.
