Some religions accept death like anything else.

Hindus for one, death really doesn't mean a ton, because you come back, your karma either does you good or bad, and repeat the process until you reach moksha.

Satanists refuse death, blatantly. They die only when death is inevitable, much like an animal who would tear off his own leg before dieing in a snare.

I was thinking this very thing a few days ago. It's fun to kid yourself there's life after death, because you can justify all the time you waste on menial shit that has no effect on anything. It's comforting to think there's something more meaningful and transcendent to our lives than their immediate effects on others, because then we can be cunts justifiably.
