Alright, I'm still at the point that I don't know how it goes either way so I'm not pro-religion and I'm not against it either. I just have to say this because I've read it many a time and it makes me fucking go crazy to hear such bullshit.
What many people do not understand is that the majority of events to happen are all symbolic. Or they do understand and they don't know what the fuck it means. If there is another race and they don't have a particular religion (let's use Christianity) then it doesn't necessarily mean a fucking thing. The whole story could be completely different but it would still be symbolic of events to happen and events that have already occurred. Understand? So using this, there is no relevance in these non-educated statements.
Example of historic symbolism:
When John the Baptist was in prison he had a vision which predicted the end of days and how it would occur. I'm not going to go into all the stories but if you know anything about it at all you know how ridiculous it is in terms of modern society. There's no fucking talking frogs that convince world leaders to take the side of the devil. But there are, in fact, historical figures that represent those that bring forth the end of days.
Now, I know I said I'm not pro-religion but that doesn't mean I don't know a bit on the subject. Only a bit.
All religion is basically the same thing: a simple system that is extremely hard to maintain for the normal human being in order for them to live a better life towards others.
Personally, I like being an asshole.
