is our life just a repeated generation after generation for no reason what so ever? our we just a highly intelligent "EVOLVED" creature like dogs and so forth? or is there such a god that ignores us, that ignores our prayers to him, our begging for one another or is there just no god?

or maybe there's a God that HEARS our prayers.

Sounds like a Deist in the making. I prefer to look at God not as some divine force, a gentle, loving overlord- but instead just a force that's present. Sole purpose to just create, it doesn't have its own mind or all knowing powers- it doesn't need to be fed prayers. It can't even hear them, it's just another force in the law of nature.

If it's just a creative force, why call it God? And can you not see that destruction and creation bring the other into being as the aftermath? If a god exists as a creative force, it should have an equally powerful sibling destructive force.

I'd like to think that my life is a little bit more than a complex, prolonged chemical reaction. The sum of the parts is less than the whole.
