I think you need to be a old cardinal for a long time before they will even think about looking at you.

If you've had your sacraments then yes. If not, no. You don't have to be a priest.

Sadly, the cardinals would never vote for anyone that wasn't a cardinal in this day and age.

The election of a pope is a conclave. You can only be elected if you are a Cardinal and under the age of 70. The oldest Cardinal of the Cardinals must handle the cermonial part and can't either be elected as pope. He can only be there as a spectator.

personaly I think that they should stop electing pope and make all of the Vatican grounds into a museum. Skip the religous.

You don't run for Pope. It's not like an election where you hand out flyers and shit talk your opposition.

You also have to be above a certain age to run too, I think it may be 50.

But why would you want this pope to die? The reason for concern is that some academic, I cannot for the life of me remember his name, he lived some hundreds of years ago who made predictions (something like two words, or what their crest would be)on every pope, and all his predictions about the popes that we know about have been correct so far. But amazing as that may be, he also predicted that the world will end just two more popes from now.

Now I am not sure if he meant the whole world or the world of the church, but either way his predictions have been correct thus far, so I wouldnt be looking forward to another pope just now.

Not true. Any single Catholic male can become the pope.

Maybe but being a cardinal and Italian really improves your chances.

Umm, shut the fuck up. I'm anything but a religious freak you fucking cunt. All the same though quit preaching your "anti-God religion is bullcrap" bullshit. That's no better than what the Church preaches.

Realise that you're an idiot.
