i've read verses in the bible that made it sound like either hell doesn't exist yet, or the devils the only one their. catholics believe in a pergatory.

my views on that is i believe spirits are still on earth, but there really in another realm. like i believe they cant contact us at all, and they cant effect the physical realm. i also believe asking for things in your prayers doesn't work. i believe the only thing you can get out of praying is forgiveness for things you do. i dont believe god effects the world. i just believe he can give you emotional help, and you pretty much make your own luck.

i find it hard to believe that if you commit suicide that your going to hell. i mean we cheat life with all kinds of things, like drugs and alcohol, and christians dont believe you go to hell for that. so is it possible that if you commit suicide that instead of entering the spiritual realm, that your reincarnated in order to finish out the rest of life?

Sheol and Heaven are the only two locations if you want to go with more accurate translations of the original texts. Sheol is simply nothingness...it's the grave (quite literally). Heaven, a place humans supposedly couldn't reach until the big JC let himself be sacrificed, is the dwelling of the angels and of God, and after the second coming, it will also be the dwelling of those who died physically but their spirit remains. Essentially, both Christians and atheists could be right on where they think you go after death. http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif)
