I heard many stories of Blacks or Sub-Saharan Africans being the decendants of Canaan. The man who had darkened skin or somthin due to seeing his father or uncle naked. What are your opinions?

No, I don't think so. Canaanites has meant "phoenician" in some contexts, and they weren't black. Blacks weren't ever really in the middle east. They are sub-saharan, pretty much exclusively.

Wasn't it a result of the curse on Ham?

Ignorantly speaking, of course.

Wasn't it a result of pigmentation of the skin changing as the generations pass to a more comfortable shade, thanks to natural selection?

Edit- by the way, anyone who can tell me what is really, really wrong with that gets a cookie. http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/smile.gif)

If you want to go with the Bible all the races came from Noah and his sons an their wives. The Bible does not give women names most of the time so geneologies are out of the question.
