Yo. Does anybody have shamanic sites or links or shit? This whole 'spirit' animal stuff seems awesome. And the healing stuff.

I'm interested specifically in totems. If anyone finds a decent site on that, I'll be sure to discuss it...I'd search for myself at the moment, but I have to get ready for work.

Opening the seals of the Apocalypse didn't work out for you, huh..?
Where did you first hear of it? Shamanism is reflected by the culture it arises from... (Celtic vs. Native American practices, for instance) so naturally, the ceremonial and spiritual aspects will be different depending on who you ask.
Oh, and don't expect to find too much life altering information on a website. What specifically is your question about it?

Shamanism as I see it is about
using altered states of conciousness
to gain new insights, special abilities
and help your tribe.
There are lots of techniques
including sensory deprivation,
meditation, shaman drugs and
rituals.
Primitive shamans are the source
of many magical, mystical and
religious traditions, not to
mention government.
Shamans were the first doctors,
priests, kings and scientists,
all rolled into one.
