yesterday i watched a movie called 'what the beel do we know'. its more or less about religion/spirituality and science. they talk about all types of really interesting things, like how our attention to something can actually make it change.

i suggest to anyone whos interested to watch it. you can find their offical homepage through google or just download it here (http://www.torrentspy.com/search.asp?query=what+the+bleep+do+we+know&submit.x=0&submit.y=0).

there were only two things about the whole movie i didnt like..

first, there was this background story of a deaf woman. it was totaly pointless and ate up a lot of time that could have been better spent going into more detail about what they were discussing.

and second, one of the 'specialists' they interviewed looked to be one of those 'new-age' nuts. her name is 'ramtha' (no last name). shes head of 'the ramtha school for enlightement'. i just couldnt take her seriously at all because of how she looked and the lack of substance she gave to the movie. she looks almost exactly like my mother who was, interestingly enough, one of those new-age nuts.

so aside from those two little details the movie was excellent and had many great messages. i think everyone here would enjoy seeing that movie.

I haven't seen it so I can't compare. But if you like that kinda thing you might like "Waking Life". It's full to the brim with food for thought, but it may be over a lot of peoples heads.

I didn't quite get the section of the deaf girls story where she's in the subway and there is the exhibit with all the water molecules with different things on them. If I understand, I think they were trying to say if you feel good about yourself, then you'll be healthy and vice versa. Some of those concepts were just a little to hard to believe.
