Since Iran is the only true theocratic country in existance today, you may want to borrow heavily from them. It helps that Islam is Christianity's baby brother.

Oh and don't make the same mistake twice. If you are going to keep the Constitution like Christian Exodus people want (Why? Is it holy now?) rewrite it completely such that there can be no mistaking what it really stands for.

The link to Christian Exodus was not posted by me and I don't really know who the people are. Also we would not be breaking away and seceding land. People could stay or go whereever they chose. A micro nation is not required to have land mass to exist. I am wanting to get this set up because many people are mistreated by the powers that be and will continue to be as long as they have ties to the system. This is not about fundamentalism it is about social justice and human dignity. Jesus was a liberator.

The bit about Iran was a joke, I admit, but I'm serious when I say you should research religious parties (in democratic countries) and work within the system. Notice how some states allow gay marriage while some don't? This is because different states have different percentages of gay rights supporters. The only way you can win is with concentrated numbers.

By working with the democratic system, you could remain a state under the USA. That wouldn't be seceding land. At the same time your religious party would be able to make state laws.

The way you describe would be much harder to pull off, and would be very limited in its actions. If you remained spread out thin and yet 'cut ties' with the system you would be seen as criminals and vigilantes and treated accordingly (with jail time).

One of most important rules of getting something done is not reinventing the wheel.
