Hey,
I'm currently writing a paper on Christian beliefs on animal testing.
I can't seem to find much information on it. Does anyone have any good websites or information I can check out to help me out with this?
Thanks,
Troll.
Christianity is a shithead organization like every other. If the church can profit from animal testing, it's good. If the church can lose from animal testing, than it's bad. If animal testing is neutral to the church, it won't be giving two fucks.

I think christian beliefs on animals (like on many other things) are contradicting. Animals are supposed to have no soul but they are punished many times in the old testament for human sins.
I don't think christianity is interested in animal rights.

Thanks for the input guys, but I have to write a 2000 word essay on this shit and I have until 8:00am to write it. (It is currently 21:20 over here. That gives me less than 12 hours if I don't sleep)
Just remember everyone; if you want to do well at school go to all of your lessons and don't procrastinate. Otherwise you will end up like me... fucked! http://www.totse.com/bbs/frown.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/frown.gif)
Better find myself a resource page, and fast.

Snoopy had his feelings hurt in his adolescent Sunday School Class, because he didn't know what John 3:16 said, and all the kids laughed.
Don't mind him.

Err, they werent punished. Besides, God tld them to do it. So who are you to question it? Besides, it wasnt like God would accept an offering that was killed in a cruel manner.

John 3:16 is not the entire bible...
The church allready has a record of trying to stop science. *Earth is not the center of the universe.* Religion and science can co-exist though.
And the chirch HATES dogs. There will be no dogs after jugement day or so says revelations KJV.

i dont seem to recall anything about dogs in Revelations. I even did a search of "dog" on one of the Bibles on CD-Rom, and it said zero match.
Would you mind giving the Chapter:Verse ?

It's a bit hypocritical to think that harming God's creations (murder) is a sin but yet animals don't count because, though made by God with as much care, they have no souls. But hey, since when is hypocrisy new to the realm of religion!

Thank you. I'm not sure why the search didnt work because in the same bible cd that i tried the search, it does use the word dog right where you said.
As to dogs, i found these references about the word in Barnes' notes on the Bible:
Rev 22:15 -
For without are dogs - The wicked, the depraved, the vile: for of such characters the dogs, an unclean animal among the Jews, was regarded as a symbol, Deu_23:18. On the meaning of the expression, see the notes on Phi_3:2. The word “without” means that they would not be admitted into the heavenly city, the New Jerusalem
Phi 3:2 -
Beware of dogs - Dogs in the east are mostly without masters; they wander at large in the streets and fields, and feed upon offals, and even upon corpses; compare 1Ki_14:11; 1Ki_16:4; 1Ki_21:19. They are held as unclean, and to call one a dog is a much stronger expression of contempt there than with us; 1Sa_17:43; 2Ki_8:13. The Jews called the pagan dogs, and the Muslims call Jews and Christians by the same name. The term dog also is used to denote a person that is shameless, impudent, malignant, snarling, dissatisfied, and contentious, and is evidently so employed here.
Deu 23:18 -
Another Gentile practice, connected with the one alluded to in the preceding verse, is here forbidden. The word “dog” is figurative (compare Rev_22:15), and equivalent to the “sodomite” of the verse preceding.
This is from Strong's Greek Dictionary:
G2965
**954;**965;**769;**969;**957;
kuo**772;n
koo'-ohn
A primary word; a dog (“hound”), (literally or figuratively): - dog.

Were you using the KJV or some other version?

The only connection between myself and religious institutions is napalm, molotov and something in an 82mm. Religions are gay.

yes i was using the KJV, because that was what you said it was in. I think the problem came from the search engine in that program.. i had it search for the exact match of 'dog' instead of 'dogs'.
But thanks for pointing it out to me.
