Yesterday i tried to post this in the topic "creation, again" but i guess there is some glitch. It bumped the thread to the top, but did not have any new post(s).
Anyway, the post was mostly directed to Rust. I finally read both articles:
http://www.trueorigin.org/geocolumn.asp
and
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/geocolumn/
As much as i hate to say this, concerning the subject of the geologic column, I conceed. The 'weight' of the evidence of shale deposits and burrows is tough, to say the least.
This in no way means that i believe the literacy of the Bible any less, I just wanted to sorta take my hat off to Rust.

What are your thoughts on radioactive dating as you take the bible literally and much of what is discovered through that goes against what the bible says towards the planet only being a little over 6000 years old. Yet we can do tests on things that have short half lives, and the times we come up with from the radioactive dating do fit the actual time very acurately. yet in taking the bible literally you cannot believe that the longer dating methods work. And just to make this a little more troubling Carbon - 14 has a halflife of something around 5600 years, short enough so that we can do acurate tests with it in the labs and proove it's acuracy over the short term, but at what point do you think this is no longer accurate, or what are your arguments against it for that matter?

May Light be upon thee eternal as you project same unto your true brothers.
The way is the way. All that feel and resonate within deep seas shall there be Light set before him.
Know that it never left and patiently awaits your return.
Those that seek which is True and Light shall surely find. Those which ask of that which they know shall surely recieve.
This is the promise.
In that thread I also tried to point out that you can use archive.org to look at older versions of the trueorigins paper to see exactly what was updated in 2003 (it seemed like the same paper as 2001).
Hmm, lets hope we can get some better responses to radiometric dating than the standard, "Assumption, assumptions, assumptions. Shh, don't explain it to me." and "Look, we screwed up the dating but since it's a wrong date we are going to say it was the dating method that was wrong and is unusable."

On dates and percieved time, that which was is in the now, also in that which is to become.
Know that you abideth in space-time, but are never truly seperate from the Whole.
It is with you in the NOW, shade it not with that percieved from the past or future, for all is truly One and ever will be.
Know this and know that All is welcoming before you.
Let time nor space keep you from that which is past, present and to become. Know that All is One and in this we Become.
Oneness, Oneness! Keep this before you and all shall come.
Let fear and denial turn their faces toward, and worship the throne of the Turue Lord that is to become. In you, as it is with All.
Trust.
