Ever heard of one? Or some sort of music-oriented general philosophy. Like: music is the greatest invention ever and is sacred, the pop infidels must be jihaded upon. Maybe not that extreme. Probably doesn't even exist. So, speak!

Who the hell would make such a thing? It makes no sense whatsoever. To have a religion you need to honestly believe that whatever you worship has greater than human powers and is eternal. What person in their right mind could honestly think of music as a "god"? Music is an object lacking the potential to have a religion based upon it.

music isn't an object. it is vibration. the universe is vibration. music is distinct in that if it is good, it is harmonious, unlike lesser levels of chaos swirling through existence. on the scale of things coherent and divine, music is at the top. therefore, Music is God.

I've recently heard that "They" have made Rock and Roll an honorary religion and that it's somehow the exact opposite of Christianity. But, I haven't done any research into this so I can't verify it. It's just something I read in a magazine right now.

I will be studying at Multnomah Bible College...then I can lead a worship team somewhere.
