Okay, whether you call it Heaven, Paradise, Moksha (right?) Or whatever, most religions say it ends with an ultimate paradise- A one ness with god, so I want to know- In your eyes as believers, what does one have to do?

Follow every word in the book and believe in god?

Follow every word but not believe?

Believe but not follow?

What about people that came before the time when the books were written, what happens to them?

What about people that haven't heard of the religion... Surely you cannot punish them for not having been shown the light by others, what if they've led really good lives?

What about the mentally ill, or the braindead, the people who've not had a chance to make the decision to do good/evil.

Taking the Christian example; What happens to those people who aren't good enough to go to heaven, but aren't evil enough to go to hell?
