Wow! So convincing! All the worlds christians... never thought of it before. You've converted everyone now.

Here's are two explanations I've understood from christians:

1) It's a test from god to see if you keep faith and then you can go to heaven.

2) People have freedom of their own minds and decisions, and this is part of what comes of it.

But, like, aint God spozed to be all saintly and utopian?

Could you like not go player hating on a religion until you have at least put a minor effort into understanding it first? There are far more illogical and disagreeable things about christianity.

But God is not a very nice God and he smites people left and right in the Bible. He only protects the Hebrews. Now we must start a new religion because I be not Hebrew. I will worship Mumbo Jumbo, giant fish of the Congo.

God is just a figment of human imagination. In the past, someone looked at the stars and was wondering if we really were alone in the universe. If you think about it, there is no god or gods, just that phrase that one person said, "I think, therefore I am", Simple as that.

Umm... what where we talking about again?

Upon further analysis, you'll realize that "the thought itself is the thinker." http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif (http://www.totse.com/bbs/wink.gif)

Just like NurotiK said.

An old saying that you will always remember,

"Religion is the opiate of the masses".
