You always hear people say don't do that or you'll go to hell, homosexaully is a sin, everyone black are sinners, etc. It seems that they are just useing thier postion to push for their ideals to be heard, instead of their God's ideal teachings? This seems to lead to many different versions of the religon(i.e. Cathlic, Lutheran, Baptist, etc.) If the bible is created by God why is it understand differently by different people?

There you have it, the bible was not created by God but by those who worship him.

Because while God's word is immaculate, people are not. In other words, from the very first person who transcribed the original Bible, there were errors, ambiguities, and other types of gaffes.
At least, that's the story if you believe that the Bible is divine.

Forget the Bible, that is mostly fear-based mythology.
However, from time to time, people show up on this planet who do pretty much speak for god. As a rule, they are killed for their trouble if they speak too loudly.
Since the burning bush thing tends to run afoul of environmental regs, god speaks in many ways. You just have to be open, and pay attention.

People think that they can gain power or leverage in a situation by using the so called word of god.

Ever heard of "The Mandate of Heaven"? Now that's some bullshit.
People say that it's god's will, or somethng like that, to basically sound good in front of other people, or because they fear a falsely-worshipped cloud.

Isn't it odd that the word of God always coincides with the word of the speaker?

maybe some religons/people don't have gods "backing" and he only guides the answers to the "true religon"

Gods will is changed because people are controlled by the ego. Eliminate the ego, and you will find god.
I believe that the Bible is Divine, but man has messed it up. I was recently kicked out of a church for something very trivial (i "liked" a girl there...without her parent's permission...), and it made me realize this:
God isn't up there freaking out over any and everything you do- God destroyed religon in the Bible (i.e. death of Jewish faith with Jesus) to try and make something new, where He could communicate with man without the ambiguous religon getting in the way. God is actually very laidback, and really just wants to love people. Those "christians" who shout things like "All fags go to hell!"? They are the real enemies of God- the misled, uninformed masses that do nothing but slander His name.
I love God. I despise "christians".

Absence of evidence doesn't mean evidence of absence.
