Not necessarily, beleif based religions (some of them at least) cannot be proven right or wrong. It's kind of like remaining neutral in war, which has always seemed rather intelligent if you ask me.

The one thing I know about the universe, cosmology (the study of the structure and evolution of the universe), astro-physics and just science in general is that we don't know everything yet.

That leaves it open for debate, there may well be something outside of our universe, in fact certian scientific principals depend on it. So before you go assuming that it's for morons, stop and think.

You can't be sure that there ISN'T anything beyond us (when I say "us" I refer to we humans as sentient creatures and the universe in which we live.) just as people who choose to have beleif based religions can't be sure that there IS anything.
