here are the comparisons I've come up with so far
1. Both are worthless messages spread form one person to another
2. both are often forced on people who do not want to accept them and were much happier before it came
3. Both are a great waste of thought and effort
4. Chain mail is filled with silly superstitions like "It is said that when you receive this image and do not send it to at least five people, the woman will look for you during the night to collect your soul", much like Christianity
5. Both seek to scare people into doing what it says by threatening them with extreme punishments.
6. Chain mail not only affects its users in a negative way but every one else as well, much like Christianity
7. All those who acept chain mail or Christianity are encouraged to spread it.
please add to the list
