Honestly, people wouldn't live much different lives without religion. Sure, there'd be no more archaic practices, but generally, their beliefs wouldn't change much. They'd remain the same sheeple that they are. They'd just follow a different trend. Christianity, and other religions, are just a justifaction for the inability to see through dogma and bullshit.

If I found out tomorrow that there was a God, I'd still be the same asshole I am today. My response would be:

"He exists, great. Well, I'm already going to Hell, might as well go for broke and see how far down I can get."

Simply, I believe in everything the bible says, but I'm not in a classification as a religion. In fact, it's mostly the religious people who don't my kind. We stress Romans 8: To the local body of believers so they know who and what they are in christ. When you're born again Christ lives in you, and Christ considered himself equal with God. Galations 2:20. The OT says God made us a little less than himself. Psalm says, "Who is man that you are mindful of him." Basically, we are Sons and daughters of the Living God, by Jesus Christ, who now lives in us and makes us righteous/equal to God by Jesus' blood.

Oh Yea, Philipians 2:5 & 6 States Christ being equal to God.
