So if the key to everlasting happiness (whatever the fuck heaven provides) is to believe in god, and obey him, then why does "he" make it so damn confusing? there are so many religions out there, and there are so many different strands of christianity and stuff so.. what the hell?

I myself consider myself an agnostic but i know there is a god out there (dont ask for proof you godammed skeptics, i just have faith that there is something out there)But according to my christian friend, i will go to hell if i dont accept jesus christ as my lord and savior... well... its human nature to be confused and shit so why does god (if god is in fact the christian god) make shit so difficult? Out of like 100 religions, you have to pick the RIGHT one for happiness in the afterlife... why/

To an atheist or a christian things seem to make sense... if they confront one another the atheist will say to the chrstian "how can you believe in something that doesnt exist?" and the christian will say to the atheist "why do believe god doesnt exist? he clearly does"

and things will start off with "prove this,and prove that" and no one gets anywhere...

Religion is a system of control and nothing more. It was conceived by some of the greatest minds and is riddled with cop outs incase it's questioned. It basically keeps other intelligent people from fucking it up. When other intelligent people realized this and saw the power they could gain with religion, they simply created their own.

You aren't agnostic by the way. Agnostic people are those like me who don't believe in god but would if it could be proven. You have faith that their is a god, which means you already believe in him and just want the proof.

I have heaven here on earth and would rather come back than go to a heaven. When I die my energy will go back into the universe where I may or may not materialize again. If I don't, i'll be too dead to care anyhow. I believe I will be back like I have been before. I'm one of the few people who remembers past lives. I've achieved god like stature before and most likely will once agian in this life.

Agnostics are those who believe god cannot be proven or disproven.. .which is what i believe

Not completely.

Agnostics do not believe or disbelieve in a god.

They want proof before they'll believe either way.

They may think that it's possible for their to be a god, but they won't believe he/she/it exists without some sort of concrete proof.
