So sin distances me from God, what's going to bring me closer again? I've been engulfing myself in sin lately, and I'm having trouble on what's going to get me back on track with God? I know he's forgiven me, but I'm still down for the count. What to do?

Repentence. Repent mean to turn away from. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Renew your mind with the truth of God, meditate on it. Meditate means to think on, it doesn't mean to sit like a little buddah and Hum. If you've asked for forgiveness, then there is no condemnation in you, no record against you. God's forgotten and the enemy is holding it against you to keep you from going foward.
