what do you think would happen if a an baby dies at an really early age like 2 or 3 and knows nothing of religion. do you think the baby would go to heaven or hell. doesn't matter if were are christians, muslims, or any other religion.

A baby is sanctified by a believeing parent. Until they reach the age of accountability.
There's been 50 million babies from my generation legally murdered... But I will refrain..

Is there some scripture backing that up? Or is this all asuming that God has mellowed out and is now giving people free rides because they have a valid excuse.

it'd go to neither, "hell" is a fiqurative place. The greek word hades (in hebrew she'ol i think) is the common grave of mankind, the bible says dead people go here, and wait for resurrection. good ppl are resurected to a resurrection of life, bad ppl = resurrection of judgement. - its in the bible..... Since im nto god, i don't know, probably go to a resurrection of life.
God would never judge someones actions on their parents!

I though he does and told other people to do the same several times in the Bible.
If you believe the Bible we are all still being punished for Adam and Eve's mistakes.
