sin
1. A transgression of a religious or moral law, especially when deliberate.
2. Theology.
1. Deliberate disobedience to the known will of God.
2. A condition of estrangement from God resulting from such disobedience.
3. Something regarded as being shameful, deplorable, or utterly wrong.
(I take that definition from dictionary.com)
Based on this understanding of sin, my teacher thinks that we can never sin.
Assuming that God is omnipotent, God will no expectation from us. He doesn't expect us to worship him or to love him (He is far from being insecure). This is because the concept of sin is based on us offending God, disobeying God's will. Hence, when we do bad, like killing or stealing, we do not sin, but instead we only wronged other people.
