You don't half know how funny this sounds, you who posted this "you will be missed, Lost" in LostCause's historical Letter of Resignation.

Anyway, Valmont seemed to think that everyone knows what's going on and at that point closed the thread and wished us all a good night's sleep and nice dreams. Well, he didn't really; but everyone does not know what's going on, I think, as I am one.

Any more answers for those in need of them ?

The only thing I can see from looking at that thread is that there is not a lot of love lost between you and Valmont.... and acidmelt. Apart from this, what's behind it is not apparent and doesn't answer any questions I have, such as : what was Valmont talking about when he said that everyone probably knows what's going on ?

Uncus, I think you are a victim of reading too much into the phrase "know what's going on".

It was a simple statement, meaning exactly what it was intended to mean.

Everyone "knew" at that point that Lost was no longer a mod, and that he and I were. It was being beaten to death. That's all Val meant.

Since this thread doesn't belong in My God, I am going to move it over to Spurious.

While I appreciate your interest and concern for this situation, you are unfortunately chasing ghosts.

There was no conspiracy to overthrow Lost's position of power here in My God.

Acid wasn't trying to undermine her. He saw a need, and he filled it. She resigned for her own reasons.
