From what i read about the Council of Nicea its a council of bishops, formed in the second century of the christian congregation. Are this the people who introduced the trinity? If so are these the people Jesus was talking about(i think its in Matthew, someone help me out) when he said: "some will try to mislead you after i died." ???

it was 325 AD actually (and another sometime in the 700's).

yes they did decide the doctrine of the trinity. (well sort of...they decided that christ was the same as god but the holy spirit didn't get made part of the trinity until 381(?) )

no jesus probably wasn't refering to them.

I think he was referring to the gospel writers.

The Council of Nicae were Gospel RE-writers.

The holy trinity and a plethora of other things were/are just things/ideas/ideals stolen from other religions and incorporated into Xianity.

The whole holy trinity thing came from a story about Krishna. The whole halo thing came from Egyption mythology and worship of a Sun-god. A Sun-god who was worshiped by none other than the founder of the council, Constantine.

Also amongst many of the things taken from other religions and incorporated into Xianity is the day of Sabbith. Constantine worshiped the Sun-god as I've said and therefore, decided to trick everyone into actually worshiping him, or at least worshiping on his day of honoring; SUNday.

Originally sabbith was on Saturdays, I think only the Amish and Jewish Still worship on Saturday. Everything read in the bible today is in some part do to the actions of the Council, so much of the bible has been changed that it's simply inane to base ones faith on it.

Learn what you can from it, but at the same time, don't deny/ignore the glaring/BLARING inconsistancies, idiosyncrasies, and idiological stories and ideals that it harbors.

Basically what I'm saying is that ppl should still think for themselves and not let the bible 'think' for them.
