View Full Version : (lucifer+jesus+messiah)3 = 666
using the alphebetical code (A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, etc.):
J+E+S+U+S = 74
M+E+S+S+I+A+H = 74
L+U+C+I+F+E+R = 74
(74+74+74)*3 = 666
i am propably not the first one to figure this out, but very creepy. not very likely to be coincidental.
i forget all the details but "666" is actually "616". and it has to do with an egyption ruler or something.
it has nothing to do with satan or hell.
can someone else fill him in on this since im too lazy?
oh and you have way too much time on your hands..

It only works in one language and you have to multiply it by another number. You could probably do that with alot of words.

I read somewhere that 666 stands for the money system we use today, most of the numbers we use everyday, credit card numbers, phone numbers consist of 6's.

Here's a little something on six...
"If six is the number of secular or human perfection, then 66 is a more emphatic expression of the same fact, and 666 is the concentrated expression of it; 666 is therefore the trinity of human perfection; the perfection of imperfection; the culmination of human pride in independence of God and opposition to His Christ."
...
"It is remarkable that the Romans did not use all the letters of their alphabet as did the Hebrews and Greeks. They used only six letters, D,C,L,X,V, and I. And it is still more remarkable, and perhaps significant, that the sum of these amounts to 666..."
[Number in Scripture - E.W. Bullinger]
...
Did they use the name "Jesus" when scripture was written?
Rethink it...this is, of course, a fluke...a lot of words could be added up to total 666...
"Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six," (Rev. 13:18).
What the Bible is saying is that the future antichrist will have a name that when it is written in Greek, its numeric equivalent will be 666.
In Greek and Hebrew there are no numeric characters. There are only alpha characters. For example, the letters a, b, c, d, e, f, etc. are alpha characters. The numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, etc., are numeric characters. They are different -- except for the letter "o" and the number "0". When the Greeks wanted to write a number, they used letters for numbers. The Greek letter "alpha" had the numeric equivalent of 1. The next letter "beta" has the numeric equivalent of 2, and so on.
Therefore, whenever a word in Greek is written, because the letters are also numbers, every word has a numeric value. This numeric value is called a gematria. The Greek word for Jesus has a mathematical equivalent of 888.

I agree, the bible was written in greek and hebrew, that scripture in greek, in the orginal text, jesus + Lucifer + messiah didn't equal 666.

That is incomplete. In some manuscripts it is 616, and in some it is 666. As far as i know, the scholars are not sure (as in, the scholars are divided... not in agreement) because it is differant than words. They cant draw a conclusion based on the context of the words around it.
this topic is a waste of time. first of all, when the bible was written, they did not use the same english as now, they didnt even use english. this is *PURE* coincidence and is more of something people would use to hoax you out of a religeon.

1. What makes the number 6 anything special or significant, exactly?
2. The Romans used I, V, X, L, C, D and M. That's not six letters.
Also, the same letter in the lower case was considered to be 100 times that letter, eg M = 1,000, but m = 1,000,000.
The sum of these letters is MDCLXVI, which is 1666. If you want to count the lower-case letters (which only came into use very near the collapse of the Roman Empire, around 400AD I think), then it's mdclxvMMDCLXVI, which is 1,666,666,666. I think.

Okay, you want to know where the whole 666/616 comes from. It's the numerical equivalent of Nero's full name is Hebrew.
Read this: http://tinyurl.com/8rehx
2003 - 1337 = 666
Which means that 2003 was the year of satan worshipping h4x0rs.

Ok you stated that a future antichrist will have the name with the numerical value of 666? How do we translate english to greek to find the greek numerical value of a name, Is it just the first name or the whole name? Does Jesus's first name just stand for 888, or the whole name? Who was this future prediction made by? The beast would he be bad or good? Should he be killed or let to live?
