I am a Seventh-Day Adventist. I will try to answer any questions that you can give me relating to my religion. So, Ask Away...

how do you stand on the 'holy flesh' heresy?
(for those who don't know it was one of teh more shameful bits of STA history)

What's with the saturday worship thing?
Seventh day adventists are cool. We have a 7th day adventists church/building/thing right next to our stake center. They let us use their parking lot during general conferences and stake conferences and such.
Do you deny the eternality of hell fire?
Where in the bible does it say Jesus is michael the archangel?
Why don't you drink alcohol?

it's a bible thing. sunday as a day of worship has very little NT support.
the then pagan emperor constantine introduced it in march 325 (?). (and yes the decree is a matter of historical record.)
and before any evangelicals get all heated, 'the day of the lord' does not mean sunday.

I really don't think that it matters. As long as you reserve a day for God, you are golden. I honestly don't think that God cares whether or not it's saturday or sunday.
Although the saturday thing works out for us, because no one is there on sunday general conferences and such. I think it must work out for them because I'm going to assume they do big stuff on saturdays that I dont know about, but if not, meh.

a valid point but it can be argued that as the sabbath is listed in the 10 commandments etc that it can only be changed by god and not man.
STA believe that it is also one of the signs of the true faith and has implications in the last days.

Haha, typical attitude of a religious person. Do you even believe that the bible is the truth?
If you do, why don't you live your life by its rules?
If you don't, why do you believe in God?
describe the main differences between your religion and regular christianity(protestant).....

they are regular christians! the main differences are they keep the sabbath and the OT dietry laws (to a degree).
In the old days they regarded their founder E.G.White like a prophet but theses days they just regard her writings as instructions not scripture.

God said "Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy" not "remember saturday to keep it holy".
I do live by it's rules, do you?

How could you regard someone like you would a prophet and not think of their writings as scripture?
Why would i live my life by the rules specified in a fictional book?

You said "they regard some guy like they would a prophet" but that they "don't think of their writings as scripture", and I'm wondering how that could be.
If you had a prophet, wouldn't everything they write be inspired of God, and therefore as good as scripture.
Where's that 7th day adventist guy anywho?

I think Sabbat is on Saturday.
I go to a non-denominational church that tries to actually read/understand the Bible, though.
