im sure this has been posted before.
but heres the thing, satan was once an angel right?
ok, so he rose up against god. the intelligence of that can be debated, but how did that transfer him into the prince of darkness?
how did rising up against god turn an angel into evil incarnate?
if theres a hell, which i doubt in the manifestations ive read about, then perhaps satan is as much a prisoner as anyone else there. it could be, that hell is satans punishment.
maybe he has turned into something different, but i dont think that one day he just turned evil like it seems to say in the bible.
the closest thing to devils and demons are the things looking back at you in the mirror. you want to see evil, look at humanity. i dont think we need any help.
now, just for the one person reading this, lt me explain my view on hell.
it makes no sense to me that god created a place of eternal torment just for tose who didnt closely follow the path. i love my niece, i cant imagine anything she could reasonably do or would do that would want me to send her to some place like that.
could there be a hell? yes. but its inhabitants would have to be exceptionally evil. someting a bit worse than just assholes and self centered cocksuckers.
alot of what gives the god hatrs fuel are things that MAN did. make wars in the name of god for example. if i said im going to kill 10 babies in the name of god, does that mean god sanctioned it? no, i means i said it, period.
just like bush and bill orielly claim to be christians.
